One of the technology projects that make up RevFot, the Technology Program (PTEC) funded by Corfo, has begun. The project is led by Universidad Autónoma de Chile and the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission (CCHEN).

Its focus is to recover high-value elements from lithium batteries at the end of their useful life.

The session took place at the Innovation Center of Universidad Autónoma de Chile, at the invitation of its Faculty of Engineering. Researchers from the university and CCHEN took part, contributing their technical expertise to the challenge.
