What we recover
RevFot is a PTEC technology program backed by CORFO, developed by a consortium of partners that contribute energy, research and development.
Purpose
Chile leads solar energy in the region. Our purpose is that its materials are not lost.
Every panel and battery that reaches the end of its life holds valuable materials. We recover them instead of discarding them.

FAQ
Quick answers about the program, the materials and who takes part.
RevFot is a PTEC technology program backed by CORFO (code 25PTECVR-306417) that develops processes to recover and add value to the materials of end-of-life solar photovoltaic panels and batteries in Chile.
Glass, aluminum, silicon, copper, silver and lithium, among the materials found in photovoltaic panels, lithium batteries and electronic waste.
The program runs for 5 years, covers photovoltaic panels and LFP batteries, and aims to recover value from up to 95% of the photovoltaic panel.
One beneficiary, three associates (Sonnedix, Rho Generación and MyMA), seven co-executors (Universidad Autónoma de Chile, Universidad de Concepción, Climate Smart Leasing, CCHEN, NC Doing, IdeasLab and LignoVolt) and three interested parties (Colbún, ENGIE and the Energy Regional Ministry Office of Biobío).
Chile's Law 20,920 on Extended Producer Responsibility (REP Law) made photovoltaic panels a priority product, which creates the need for solutions to recover them at the end of their useful life.
